Executive 162 F

Hi, I am building a Rotorway 162f Executive came with an electric waterpump. The manuals does not explain fitting the electric pump or plumbing. Need some photo and help explaining layout. Would like to chat to someone that has built the 162f executive with Talon upgrade.

Re: Executive 162 F

Peru’s, hook it up any way you want, question is foo you let it run all the time or let the regulator turn it on and off. I wouldn’t do that. They’ve had some trouble with the regulator keeping the pump off when it should be on.
Old pumps ran all the time, that’s the way I’d go.

Re: Executive 162 F

Good Day Petrus. If you haven't already figured it out, this forum is pretty dead. The forum owner no longer keeps up with things. Its difficult to get registered and most people who join give up before the owner ever responds to their membership request.
Facebook had a couple of groups but many people are not on facebook, and facebook is not a good platform for builders and maintainers to reach out for assistance, references.
A totally free new forum is being started to fill this gap. It's new and not yet popular, but no adds, no gimmicks. No phishing and ulterior motives. Owned, maintained by a 162 owner. I'd suggest you register on it and help get it going. www.rotorwayforums.com
Sam Oliver. Fellow Talon builder.

Re: Executive 162 F

This is the first time I’ve been able to get on here from my phone in probably over a year.
Was only able to get on here from my desktop. Hope Ron has made the registration easier too,
I’ve joined the new site , but , I’m still having trouble figuring out the slightly different setup. I’m pretty slow.

Re: Executive 162 F

I'm back to not being able to log on from my phone, so i guess I'll only be on the desk top until it quits. Seems most of the active people are only on Face Book RW group now. I am not yet but Sharon keeps me up there some.

Re: Executive 162 F

I’m able to get on here again with my phone.
I see the group is almost dead with nearly no posts.
I’ll reach out to Ron and see what he’s thinking.
The new group seems to now have most of the activity along with the FaceBook people.
Bob’s gathering coming up in 5-6 weeks in Lake City. Will see if I can get some info by then.

The people bought out the factory building has recently started that they plan on helping keep the ships that are out here supplied with necessary parts that we maybe can’t get right now. There are several people that are supplying parts including myself right now. Both Robin and Chris are selling some parts and having a few items made.
I have elastomeric bearings available now, along with windscreens , pitch pins. aligner block bearings and 7075 blocks them selves. Tailrotor drive belts are available different places, just make sure you get the correct ones with the 20 on them.
